Returned a broken hard drive to Western Digital.
After 12 days, I had not heard anything.
UPS confirmed delivery but it was never marked as received on my RMA status page.
I chatted with “Roy S” about this.
“I don’t think it has been delivered to us yet.”
“UPS says it was delivered.”
“What was that tracking number again?”
*sends Roy the tracking number*
*long pause*
“I am going to escalate this to the proper department. You will be hearing from them shortly.”
3 days later…
“Jason K” emailed. Jason requests patience. It can take 5-7 business days to process an RMA.
I informed “Jason K” that it had been 12 business days since UPS confirmed delivery.
“David C” replied to inform me that he is very sorry and regrets my inconvenience.
He has now escalated my RMA to the proper department.
I will be hearing from them shortly.
Except “Roy S” told me he already escalated it to the proper department.
So I guess it has been double escalated.
That is like MAXIMUM ESCALATION.
I’m sure that will get things moving now.
I anticipate someone with a generic name will be contacting me shortly about further escalations.
My money is on Steve R.
Or maybe Bruce W.
